The next ball vanished over the pavilion and when Lees drove Chesney Hughes back over his head, it was his third six in six balls but Derbyshire stemmed the flow of runs with Marcus North bowling Williamson in the ninth over.North then had Johnny Bairstow stumped swinging to leg and the tempo dropped until Gale smashed the Australian through the covers for the first boundary in 5.2 overs. That opened the floodgates for a second time as Lees and Gale plundered 65 from 38 balls with Lees reaching 50 by hitting Durston back over the bowler’s head for his third four.Gayle holed out to deep square leg after hitting four fours and a six from 20 balls but Tim Bresnan made sure Derbyshire would face a daunting chase by driving Mark Turner for six as 18 came from the last over.Derbyshire lost Durston who was bowled sweeping at the second ball of their innings but Cross pulled Bresnan for six and hoisted Williamson onto the top of a refreshment wagon before driving him into the crowd over long-off. Although Tom Knight hit three sixes to give the Derbyshire fans something to cheer, the game had long gone and Derbyshire’s 10th defeat of the season was inevitable long before Turner chipped Adam Lyth to mid-on.”I thought the way Alex Lees batted was nothing short of sensational,” Yorkshire’s first team coach Jason Gillespie said. “He read the situation very well and made sure he was there at the end. At the end of the day you have to get your skills right and the way we bowled and fielded was fantastic.”Derbyshire skipper Wayne Madsen said: “They probably got 25 too many and although we got a good start, when the spinners came on it was pretty difficult to score. Yorkshire remain top of the Championship and, as they reflect on their failure to break stubborn Durham resistance on a tense final day at Headingley, they will at least console themselves that they have seen the last this season of Michael Richardson.Just the sight of Richardson is enough to send their bowlers queasy in the stomach. He bats with a dedicated, upstanding air – and, as the son of the ICC chief executive, somebody would have blabbed by now if he was not that type – but as far as Yorkshire are concerned those virtues are wearing thin. They have outplayed the defending champions twice this season and they do not have a victory to show for it.Richardson’s maiden Championship hundred at Scarborough turned the Championship in Durham’s favour last season, he took another off the Yorkshire attack at Chester-le-Street earlier this season and only the most one-eyed observer would have resented him making a third as he intervened to Yorkshire’s despair yet again.Instead, he had 95 from 165 balls when Jack Brooks exploded his middle stump, but the gamest of innings had done enough to secure a draw and stymie Yorkshire’s Championship challenge in the process. His average against Yorkshire now stands at 85. Pressure stiffens his resolve and when his own captain, Paul Collingwood, remarked after three days that a pitch was full of holes then he did not need reminding that, in his own words, Durham were “staring down the barrel”.Yorkshire must have feared their wickets column would never quite add up on the third evening when Adil Rashid assessed their challenge. A couple of wickets a session should do it, was the gist of Rashid’s message. Durham began the day one down; Yorkshire got their couple of wickets a session, and even added one for good measure. Durham finished with eight down: do the math. Yorkshire supporters yearning for another Championship should demand an emergency Ofsted inspection of arithmetical standards in Yorkshire schools.Yorkshire’s lead was 136 at start of play so runs were important but even so, considering Collingwood’s remarks, it was a surprise that Rashid did not bowl to more attacking fields until later in the day; it seemed a perfect time for a bit of psychological pressure. He was solid and he beat the outside edge intermittently but rarely suggested that he could be a matchwinner. He is an improving cricketer. He is not yet an England spinner. Nobody is.Yorkshire eventually took a big wicket in the morning when Mark Stoneman stalked off cursing Adam Lyth’s lbw decision, 86 to his name. Rashid added Gordon Muchall. But at 2.30pm, Durham took the lead with six wickets left and 49 overs left to bat. A desultory cry of “Come on Yorkshire” disturbed a stiflingly hot day. It was a call of creeping desperation, the sort of call that has become common on Yorkshire grounds when Richardson comes into bat.Richardson’s partnership with Collingwood reached 44 before Brigadier Block fenced at one that bounced and turned from Rashid. One of those holes, no doubt, betraying the man who had dared to mention them. But Richardson remained unshakeable. When he stole a legside single off Tim Bresnan in mid-afternoon, a lone cry of “Have A Collection” rent the air. He was scoring rather more quickly, if surreptitiously, than that.Up above, the jet2 planes glimmered in deep blue skies as they flew into Leeds/Bradford airport. This time there would be no cocky “We have begun our descent into Leeds/Bradford where the temperature is 14C and raining” from the crew, bringing groans of contentment from passengers as their belief was confirmed that every penny spent on 35C temperatures in Malaga was worth it. “It’s been beautiful here,” is the cruellest thing you can say to anybody back from holiday.Still, Yorkshire’s supporters hoped. When Paul Coughlin became the eighth wicket to fall, a bronzed, bare-chested supporter – almost a Malaga refugee – scratched his chest so excitedly he might have bled at the prospect of victory. Durham were 93 ahead with a minimum 23 overs left. But it was the last wicket they managed as Phil Mustard’s well-paced half-century took Durham to safety.Yorkshire dropped four catches, all of them challenging. Bresnan would have hoped to hang on to a diving chance at short extra when Richardson was 27; Jonny Bairstow had a very difficult leg-side chance off the glove when Richardson was 36. The two after tea were less costly, Bairstow failing to grasp another.Bresnan was solid, but unspectacular, which must have influenced the decision by his captain, Andrew Gale, not to give him the second new ball. England discard or not, he needed to earn the chance. Instead, he returned with the match virtually dead and the PA announcer gave his name with a resigned air. By then, it might have suited his mood.

وتلاقى الفريقان في إطار منافسات الجولة الثامنة من الدوري الإسباني، حيث فاز برشلونة بهدف دون رد.

جاء هدف فوز برشلونة عن طريق النيران الصديقة بعدما سجل المدافع سيرجيو راموس هدفًا بالخطأ في مرمى فريقه، في الدقيقة 76.

وقال تشافي في تصريحات نشرتها صحيفة “ماركا” الإسبانية: “لقد عانينا كثيرًا، أعتقد أننا لعبنا جيدًا، هاجمنا بشكل جيد، وفهمنا ما تتطلبه تلك المباراة”.

New Zealand is seeking to address the issue of corruption in sport before the 2015 World Cup with the introduction of a bill that makes match-fixing a crime. The bill, a proposed amendment to the Crimes Act of 1961, was introduced in May and the first reading was unanimously approved in New Zealand’s parliament on Thursday.The bill seeks to classify fixing in sport as a crime and, in its current form, proposes a punishment of up to seven years’ imprisonment for individuals who manipulate or influence the outcome of a game for personal benefit. The ambit of the proposed bill extends to all matches under sporting codes as well as races, such as horse, boat or car races.New Zealand’s justice minister, Judith Collins, said the bill was designed to protect the integrity of sport in New Zealand.”This is a short, but very important bill. It is designed to protect the integrity of New Zealand sport,” Collins said.”Match-fixing is a growing problem internationally and has been described as the No 1 threat to the integrity, value and growth of sport.”As we have seen with recent events, New Zealand is not immune to this growing threat. That’s why the government is taking action on this matter.”The reading of the bill comes a few weeks after Lou Vincent’s admission of involvement in fixing. Vincent had been under investigation by the ICC’s anti-corruption and security unit since December last year, after which he was charged by the ECB for fixing domestic games. Vincent was given a life-ban by the ECB, a penalty that was supported by New Zealand Cricket.Fixing legislation in some form is also present in a few other cricket countries. In 2011, all states and territories in Australia agreed to bring in criminal legislation against fixing. While a few states have already done so, others are in the process of bringing in such laws, but there is no federal law in place. In England, the law is aimed at punters and cheating but not specifically fixing. Giles Clarke, the ECB chairman, has stated that the board is working with the government on laws that make fixing a criminal offence.The match-fixing bill will now be taken up by a law and order select committee. The bill could be passed into law before the World Cup and the FIFA Under-20 World Cup, which New Zealand will host later next year.

The BCCI’s disciplinary committee will meet in Mumbai on Saturday to assess the Rajasthan Cricket Association’s reply to the show-cause notice it was issued by the Indian board following its suspension on May 6. Representatives of the RCA will also attend the meeting as special invitees.The RCA was suspended by the BCCI after former IPL chairman Lalit Modi, who was expelled by the BCCI last year for “committing acts of serious misconduct and indiscipline”, was elected the state association’s president. The BCCI suspended it for allowing a banned individual to be a part of its affairs, and, later, omitted the various teams representing Rajasthan from its domestic programme for the upcoming season. That left the players anxious and confused as to what their future holds.This meeting might clear up some of that confusion. It will be the first time BCCI and RCA officials sit together at the same table since the RCA was suspended.The BCCI’s disciplinary committee includes sidelined BCCI president N Srinivasan, interim board chief Shivlal Yadav and vice-president Rajiv Shukla. Srinivasan, who has been sidelined by the Supreme Court of India while the investigation into the alleged corruption in IPL 2013 is ongoing, will not be a part of the meeting, but BCCI secretary Sanjay Patel will be present. The RCA will be represented by Modi’s trusted lieutenants, deputy president Mehmood Abdi and secretary Sumendra Tiwary.The meeting is being held a couple of days before the BCCI and the RCA are due to hand in responses to the appeal filed on behalf of 75 cricketers affected by the issue, in the Rajasthan High Court, asking that the players not be allowed to suffer because of the administrative stalemate. However, ESPNcricinfo understands that only the RCA’s reply to the BCCI’s show-cause notice will be discussed, and not the appeal.The disciplinary committee meeting has been convened as per the BCCI regulations. According to the BCCI rulebook, within six months of the suspension of an individual or a member, a future course of action in the matter should be decided upon. Accordingly, the disciplinary committee will discuss the matter in detail on Saturday and forward its recommendation to the BCCI’s working committee, which will meet in Chennai on September 26.The issue is far more complex than it appears. The BCCI expelled Modi in September 2013 based on a special disciplinary committee’s findings. The RCA, which was then headed by CP Joshi, had voted in favour of Modi’s expulsion. The expulsion had meant Modi could not be a part of any official cricket activities conducted by BCCI and its members.However, since the RCA is governed by the Rajasthan Sports Act, Modi could not only represent the Nagaur district in the RCA elections, but was also elected as the association’s president. Subsequently, the BCCI – as per its rules – had to suspend the RCA.

في إطار توجيه ميزانية الحملة الانتخابية لدعم نادي الزمالك والمساهمة في حل مشاكله المادية، أعلن المساهمة في حل أزمة ملابس الفرق الرياضية في كرة السلة واليد والطائرة إيماناً منا بأن الزمالك يمر بمرحلة دقيقة وصعبة للغاية، تحتاج إلى العمل والتكاتف والبحث عن حلول سريعة وعملية قابلة للتنفيذ، لانهاء الأزمات التي يتسبب عدم التدخل العاجل لحلها في تضخمها لدرجة يصعب معها حلها فيما بعد، و هذا النهج نختاره بعيدا عن الوعود البراقة التي لا طائل منها.
