نجح الفريق الأول لسيدات الكرة الطائرة بالنادي الأهلي في الفوز بلقب بطولة كأس السوبر المصري بعد التغلب على الصيد، بنتيجة 3-0 في المباراة التي جمعت الفريقين في النهائي.

وأقيمت المباراة على صالة المقاولون العرب، وسيطر خلالها سيدات طائرة الأهلي على مجريات اللعب، وحسمها الفريق لصالحه بنتيجة 3-0، ليحصد “سيدات طائرة الأهلي” اللقب الأول هذا الموسم.

Kris Srikkanth, chairman of the Indian selection committee, has backed Yuvraj Singh to come good in Test cricket. Despite being a fixture in India’s limited-overs plans for many years, Yuvraj has not managed to seal a permanent Test spot, but has forced his way back into the squad for England on the back of his starring role in the World Cup.”We all know that Yuvraj has quality,” Srikkanth told the . “Yes, I agree that he has so far failed to carry forward his ODI form into Test cricket. But he still has many years of cricket left in him. If he can cement his place in the Test squad, then that will surely augur well for Indian cricket.”In the absence of several senior players, the ongoing West Indies series would have provided Yuvraj the perfect opportunity to revive his Test career, but a lung infection forced him out of the series. The vacancies in the middle order gave India’s next generation of batsmen a rare Test look-in. Suresh Raina made good use of the opportunity, overcoming his weakness against short-pitched bowling to score two half-centuries, while Virat Kohli failed to build on his strong one-day performances.”We never had any doubt about Raina’s talent,” Srikkanth said. “He started off [his Test career] very well but then had a quiet period. But a player with such talent was bound to return to form. Like all good players he has worked on his weaknesses. This Indian team has a great dressing room atmosphere and the juniors always get the right advice from the seniors. But the bottom line is that you have to solve your own problem.”Raina worked hard and approached the task without any confusion. It’s not easy for a youngster, who grows up on placid Indian wickets, to be a naturally good player of pace bowling. Raina has shown the requisite grit. He was ready to fight it out which was very heartening.”While Srikkanth had words of praise for Raina, he refused to write off Kohli based on the failures in his first two Tests, in which he scored only 46 runs.”Virat should be allowed more time, he has just had his first brush with Tests,” Srikkanth said. “These youngsters will learn from experience. Test cricket is different from ODIs and it’s not easy to get used to the conditions. These days they barely play any side matches and by the time they get acclimatised to the conditions the tour is over. Kohli has performed in the ODIs and now it’s all about taking that form into Test cricket. I’m sure he will work on his game and will improve. He has a bright future ahead.”

واصل آرسنال  صدارته للدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز بعدما حقق فوزًا قاتلًا في مباراة مثيرة على مانشستر يونايتد، ضمن الجولة 21 من المسابقة، على ملعب الإمارات بالعاصمة لندن.

شوط المباراة الأول كان مثيرًا، بعد تهديد آرسنال مبكرًا مرمى مانشستر يونايتد عن طريق توماس بارتي في أول 5 دقائق.

ظلت المباراة منحصرة في وسط الملعب، ليخطف مانشستر يونايتد الهدف الأول عن طريق ماركوس راشفورد بتسديدة رائعة من خارج منطقة الجزاء في الدقيقة 17.

نكيتياه حاول ولكن فاران أنقذ تسديدته في الدقيقة 19، ولكن بعد 5 دقائق حاول مجددًا ليسجل إدواردو الهدف الأول للجانرز والتعادل لأصحاب الأرض في الدقيقة 24 برأسية من عرضية جرانيت تشاكا.

حتى نهاية الشوط الأول، كان آرسنال الأفضل ولكن لم يتمكن من تسجيل الهدف الثاني.

في الشوط الثاني، دخل تومياسو مكان بن وايت، بعد أن حصل الأخير على كارت أصفر في الشوط الأول.

أقل من 10 دقائق على بداية الشوط الثاني، ليسجل ساكا الهدف الثاني بطريقة رائعة بعد مراوغة من خارج منطقة الجزاء وتسديدة في الزاوية الصعبة على الحارس دي خيا.

راشفورد كاد أن يسجل التعادل في الدقيقة 55 بعد دقيقتين من هدف ساكا ولكن رامسديل تألق أمام مواطنه الإنجليزي.

بعد 4 دقائق، سجل ليساندرو مارتينيز الهدف الثاني وتعادل لـ مانشستر يونايتد، بعد خطأ فادح من رامسديل في إبعاد الكرة.

ظلت المباراة من جانب واحد، آرسنال يحاول عن طريق ساكا ونكيتياه ولكن دفاع مانشستر يونايتد بالمرصاد.

أخطر الفرص كانت عن طريق ساكا في الدقيقة 70 بعد تسديدة نفس التي سجل منها الهدف الأول، ولكن القائم الأيسر أنقذ دي خيا.

قبل أن يتعملق دي خيا نفسه في الدقيقة 84 بعد تسديدة صاروخية من نكيتياه.

دخول فريد مكان أنتوني، جعل مانشستر يونايتد يقبل اللعب أمام الجانرز، مع اقحام أرتيتا للوافد الجديد لياندرو تروسارد بدلًا من مارتينيلي.

كاد ساكا أن ينفرد بمرمى دي خيا ولكن بيساكا أوقفه في وسط الملعب، ليحصل المدافع الإنجليزي على كارت أصفر بعدما منع مواطنه من قتل اللقاء.

وعندما اطمئن مانشستر يونايتد للنتيجة، غدر نكيتياه بمساعي الشياطين الحمر، وسجل الهدف القاتل بعد تمريرة زينتشينكو ثم تسديدة أوديجارد لتجد نكيتياه الذي يضع الكرة في مرمى دي خيا، وينفجر ملعب الإمارات.

3 دقائق وقت إضافي لم تكن كافية لمانشستر يونايتد، بعدما أهدرها أرتيتا في تغيير هولدينج مكان أوديجارد.

أنتوني تايلور أطلق صافرة النهاية ليعلن انتصار آرسنال، الذي رفع رصيده إلى 50 نقطة بفارق 11 نقطة عن مانشستر يونايتد الرابع الذي توقف رصيده عند 39 نقطة.

Atlético-MG e Fluminense se encaram na tarde deste domingo, no Independência, na penúltima rodada antes da paralisação do Campeonato Brasileiro para a Copa do Mundo. Enquanto, na última rodada, o time mineiro venceu o clássico com o América-MG por 3 a 1, a equipe tricolor perdeu para o Flamengo por 2 a 0 e está a três jogos sem saber o que é vitória.

O Galo, que está na quarta colocação, com 17 pontos, busca a vitória para tentar encostar no líder e Flamengo, que tem 23. Para o técnico Thiago Larghi, diante do Fluminense – que vem adotando o 3-5-2 – os comandados terão de trabalhar mais a bola e ter paciência para furar o bloqueio adversário. But Mishra not only batted with gay abandon, usually a Sehwag trait, but also combined confidence with fluency to surprise the opposition. In his primary role as a legspinner he’d had a shocking time – 38-3-170-0 – but he left the Englishmen gaping when he charged Graeme Swann on the last ball before lunch, to hit the only six of the Indian innings high over long on.Catch of the day
At the MCG in December 1998, Mark Ramprakash at square leg flung himself full-stretch to his right to intercept a pull from Justin Langer, and set England on their way to a highly improbable victory. The circumstances were somewhat different this time around, but Ian Bell’s reactions were every bit as honed, as a valiant 43 from Mishra was brought to a spectacular ending. وقال أيوب في المؤتمر الصحفي الذي عقد عقب المباراة، إنه كان من الممكن استثمار الفرص بشكل أفضل من ذلك، في الشوط الثاني، كما أن الاتحاد لم تكن له فرصًا محققة.

وأضاف: “المباراة انتهت بركلة جزاء، لا أريد أن أتحدث عن التحكيم، ولكنني لم أكن أتمنى أن يفوز الاتحاد بهذه الطريقة، ولن أتحدث عن التحكيم لأن الناس في أسرة التحكيم يثيرون الحزن”.

وأردف: “مهمتي هي العمل مع الفريق، نحن أفضل من فرق كثيرة وأدائنا تصاعدي، لكن في النهاية أنا لا أستطيع أن أنزل الملعب وأشارك بنفسي، وأنا سعيد بالتقييم الفني للفريق، لكن حزين بسبب عدم التوفيق”.

واختتم: “فريق الحرس لا يستحق الخسارة بأي حال من الأحوال، لو كان يُحالفني التوفيق كان من الممكن أن نحصل على 18 نقطة إضافية”.
