O goleiro Bruno Grassi afirma que a maratona que jogos que o CSA terá agora será puxada, mas vê um ponto positivo no calendário corrido: o grupo com mais ritmo de jogo.

‘Essa sequência de jogos será puxada. Mas nosso elenco é bem qualificado e dá uma abertura para uma rotatividade maior de jogadores. Com isso o grupo vai crescer, principalmente pelo fato de um maior número de atletas passarem a estar com ritmo de jogo. E isso vai ajudar na Série B, que também terá um início bastante cheio’, afirmou.

Bruno, apesar de ressaltar a importância da Série B para a temporada do clube, afirma que no momento o foco é total no Alagoano. O goleiro explica que o título estadual tem uma relevância para o ano do clube.

‘Vejo com bons olhos o retorno do Alagoano. É uma competição importante para o Estado, então precisamos dar o máximo para vencer. Apesar da Série B também estar próximo do começo, o nosso foco agora é todo para conseguir o nosso objetivo dentro da competição local. Então vamos juntar forças para conquistar o título’, finalizou.

Lynn McConnell16-Sep-2002It’s one thing to win a title, it’s a completely different thing to defend it.Stephen Fleming’s TelstraClear Black Caps found that out in no uncertain manner in Colombo yesterday.Their 164-run loss was an embarrassing start to a highly-significant summer for the New Zealand one-day game.Next year’s World Cup in South Africa is quite likely to be the last chance for several members of this side to attempt to win the Cup, and a good deal of time, effort and money has gone into preparing the side.Since the re-structuring of New Zealand Cricket the emphasis has been on achieving consistency in Test and one-day play. This result is not indicative of any advance being made.Notwithstanding the fact it is without key players in Chris Cairns, Craig McMillan and Andre Adams, the facts are that the elements of putting up a competitive chase still seem to elude the side.Even while the wickets were falling so rapidly at the start of the innings, the only semblance of anyone trying to put down an anchor was Mathew Sinclair, and even that was an all-too brief effort.This sort of rapid collapse is not new to New Zealand one-day play, and even if the cause was lost very early in the piece it should not be too much to expect a show of resistance to start much higher in the order than Nos 9 and 11.That’s to take nothing away from some fine Australian bowling.But when has anything different been expected of this outstanding cricket machine?Surely New Zealand knew what to expect? Even moreso after the humiliations New Zealand inflicted on Australia last year.Some will trot out the lack of preparation as an excuse.But there can be no excuse and the reality must be that New Zealand’s ability to prepare a suitable match plan while playing the game will now need to be concentrated in the remaining Champions Trophy match against Bangladesh and the seven matches available in the home series against India.That is, of course, if New Zealand’s summer weather holds up.The degree of difficulty in World Cup aspirations just got significantly higher.While the spirit shown in a last-ditch half-century stand between Kyle Mills and Shane Bond was admirable, the only real obvious positive to come out of the game was the seeming return of left-arm spinner Daniel Vettori to something like the vitality of his early days with a superb bowling performance.There was a vigour to his short bowling stint that has been lacking while he has battled with his back problems. That offers some encouragement for the season ahead, although the real test will come in the Test match arena.The match itself produced a minefield of reminders of just how much work this side has in front of it before it can claim a much higher degree of consistency in its achievement levels.Some points to ponder:The marginThe 164-run margin is New Zealand’s worst against Australia, beating the 150-run loss at Christchurch in 1989/90.It is the second highest loss by New Zealand in all One-Day Internationals by runs – the worst is 174 runs against India at Hyderabad in 1999/00.The win was Australia’s third highest by a runs margin against all-comers.Australia’s inningsAustralia’s 296/7 was the second successive match in which New Zealand has conceded more than 290 in an innings.It was the fifth highest total conceded by New Zealand to Australia, and it was the 14th highest total conceded by New Zealand against all-comers.New Zealand’s inningsThe 26.2 overs was New Zealand’s second shortest complete innings in uninterrupted ODIs. The 94 in 25.2 overs, also against Australia, at Christchurch in 1989/90 remains the shortest. And it was the fourth shortest innings against all-comers in ODIs.That last-wicket partnershipMills and Bond achieved the highest 10th wicket partnership by any country against Australia with their 50-stand. Eles ainda não treinam com o elenco profissional e não foram promovidos, mas o técnico Jesualdo Ferreira monitora a dupla há muito tempo. Allanzinho chegou a ser relacionado para algumas partidas na temporada passada, mas acabou não sendo utilizado.

Outro que entrou na lista foi o goleiro John,que já treina com os profissionais há bastante tempo, e substitui Everson, que pediu rescisão de contrato na Justiça.

Outros dois Meninos da Vila que foram promovidos pela comissão técnica são os meias Ivonei, de 18 anos, e Anderson Ceará, que tem 21 anos.

تعثر مانشستر سيتي بالتعادل الإيجابي 2/2 أمام نظيره وست هام في المباراة التي جمعت بينهما ضمن الجولة 37 من الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز على ملعب لندن الأولمبي.

شوط المباراة الأول كان مجنونًا، بعد أن تقدم جارود بوين لـ وست هام بعدما انفرد بالحارس إيديرسون، ووضع الهدف الأول بأريحية شديدة.

ظل مانشستر سيتي يحاول أن يسجل التعادل، وعرضيات من هنا وهناك ولكن صمود وست هام استمر، قبل أن يسجل بوين الهدف الثاني له ولفريقه بنفس الطريقة بعد ضرب خط دفاع مانشستر سيتي في الدقيقة 45.

انتهى الشوط الأول بغليان في مدرجات ملعب لندن الأولمبي، وبالتأكيد كان كذلك في مدينة ليفربول وجمهور الريدز الذي شعر بأن الأمور على ما يرام.

في الشوط الثاني، سجل جاك جيريليش هدف تقليص الفارق لـ مانشستر سيتي عند الدقيقة 49 بعد 4 دقائق فقط من بداية الشوط.

في الدقيقة 65 كاد أن يسجل وست هام الثالث عن طريق ميشيل أنطونيو بعد تمريرة خاطئة من فيرناندينيو، ولكن الجامايكي لم يستغل الكرة ووضعها بطريقة سيئة جدًا خارج المرمى.

ارتكب أنطونيو مخالفة بعد 4 دقائق، نفذها رياض محرز وجدت فلاديمير بوفال الذي سجلها بالخطأ في مرماه.

التعادل جاء، وبدأ البحث عن هدف الفوز، لكن فابيانيسكي تألق أمام تسديدات زينشينكو ورياض محرز ودي بروين.

وفي الدقيقة 85 عرقل داوسون المهاجم البرازيلي جابرييل خيسوس، ولكن الحكم لم يحتسب شيئًا، قبل أن يذهب لتقنية الـVAR  ويعود أنطوني تايلور ويطلق صافرته ويحتسب ركلة جزاء.

نفذ ركلة الجزاء رياض محرز ولكن تصدى لها فابيانيسكي، ليشعر جوارديولا بالإحباط.

استمرت المباراة هكذا واحتسب الحكم 4 دقائق وقت محتسب بدلًا من الضائع، حاول خلالها مانشستر سيتي أن يسجل، ولكن لم يحدث ذلك، وانتهت المباراة بالتعادل الإيجابي.

-Palmeiras está bem servido de goleiros, não só comigo, Vinicius, o (Daniel) Fuzato (do sub-20). Quando tiver outra chance espero corresponder. Vou trabalhar quietinho paraquando tiver a chance dar conta do recado, como no ano passado – disse o jogador de 35 anos.

Campeão invicto no ano passado, Jailson perdeu apenas uma partida em 2016, na Copa do Brasil. Ele entrou após Prass se machucar e Vagner não jogar bem. A participação decisiva no título deu ao goleiro um novo contrato, até o fim de 2018, mas com a recuperação do camisa 1, Jailson voltou para o banco.

Nesta temporada, ele havia apenas entrado nos amistosos de pré-temporada contra Chapecoense e Ponte Preta. Ao todo, Jailson tem 28 jogos pelo Verdão.

Em entrevista coletiva virtual nesta terça-feira, Danilo Avelar foi mais um atleta a mostrar entendimento em relação à situação financeira do Timão neste período. Perguntado sobre a possibilidade de buscar a Justiça para uma rescisão por conta do atraso de três meses, o zagueiro foi enfático em sua resposta e afirmou que ninguém seria maluco de fazer isso com o clube.

-Quem seria louco para fazer isso com um clube do tamanho do Corinthians? Se todo atleta analisasse a trajetória para chegar aqui, jamais, em hipótese alguma, faria. Eu sou empresário e sei, tenho empregados e conta para pagar. Difícil ter uma gestão no meio da pandemia – disse, antes de completar:

– A gente entendeu, temos situação financeira boa que o futebol nos proporciona, diferentemente de pessoas desempregadas por aí. Seria triste se algum atleta fizesse isso. Eu jamais teria coragem de fazer isso com o clube. A gente sabe da situação, o pensamento agora é voltar a jogar – comentou.

O Corinthians ainda deve dois meses de salário ao elenco, relativos a março trabalhado, que deveria ter sido pago em abril (sem redução), e a junho trabalhado, que deveria ter sido no início deste mês de julho (com redução de 25% do valor em carteira). Com conversas constantes com os jogadores, a diretoria conseguiu mobilizar o grupo e gerar o entendimento de todos. Há a promessa de que em agosto todas as pendências serão quitadas.

Head down Everton’s squad list and they tick plenty of boxes.

The Toffees possess a 20-goal per season striker in Dominic Calvert-Lewin, an elite playmaker in James Rodriguez and a ball-winning enforcer in Abdoulaye Doucoure.

They also have a flying wing-back in Lucas Digne but, if there’s one thing they miss, it’s a coveted world-class centre-back.

Carlo Ancelotti recognised that during his final few months at Goodison Park, noting Kalidou Koulibaly as the man to strengthen their ranks.

The Napoli defender has remained on their radar, and with Rafa Benitez now at the helm, that is hardly a surprise. The pair worked together when Benitez was head coach in Naples and he has now asked the Everton hierarchy to try and sign the 30-year-old.

Once valued at £100m, it may now take just £35m to lure the Senegal international to the Premier League.

An elite brute of a centre-half, he could replicate the type of qualities we saw from a certain Sylvain Distin in Merseyside. The Frenchman was never world-class but he was an animal when it came to stopping some of the best attacking players in the top flight.

Distin featured on 210 occasions for Everton and brought with him a robust and physical presence.

In a piece put together by Will Rooney, he wrote: “Sylvain Distin had absolutely every attribute you’d wish for in a centre-half – rapid pace, power and the ability to snuff out any danger that came his way.”

Those words could quite easily describe Koulibaly, and an interview with former Liverpool midfielder Salif Diao supplements that viewpoint. The 2002 World Cup ace once told the BBC: “He’s got all the qualities to do well in the Premier League. He’s strong, can play hard when needed, can read the game very well and is not scared to get stuck in.”

In terms of their aerial dominance, the two defenders are very alike. Dubbed “extraordinary” by Pepe Reina, Koulibaly won 2.1 headers per match throughout the 2019/20 campaign. Distin averaged close to that throughout his time with Everton and Portsmouth, winning 2.7.

Their tackle rate is also similiar. The Napoli centre-back has won two challenges per game according to WhoScored’s data, while the former Toffees stalwart won 1.7 per match throughout his career.

Consequently, Benitez could well uncover a like-minded player by luring Koulibaly to Goodison Park.

Para Rogério Ceni, pensando novamente na Copa do Brasil após golear o Santo André por 4 a 1 pelo Campeonato Paulista, pesa mais o desempenho ofensivo de Bruno. Tanto é que, para construir vantagem no jogo de ida da terceira fase contra o ABC (RN), o Mito deve descansar Buffarini, mais marcador, para o camisa 2 ser mais uma opção no ataque às 19h30 desta quarta-feira.

-Lógico, que respeitamos o adversário, mas o São Paulo em casa vem jogando assim agressivo. Estamos arriscando bastante. Estamos trabalhando para conseguir o equilíbrio, e acredito que está sendo bem feito. Com pouco tempo, estamos acertando. Trabalhar para ver como se portar e não sofrer gols – disse.

Rogério Ceni é melhor como técnico ou jogador?
Como a torcida mesmo fala, ele é um mito dentro de campo. Como jogador tem uma história muito linda e como treinador ele bem aperfeiçoando, fazendo um grande trabalho. Tem sido um ano diferente, e a gente trabalhar para conseguir os títulos e que ele consiga ser um grande técnico.

O que mudou do ano passado para este?
Esse ano tem sido bem diferente. O torcedor está criticando. Mas como falei, é melhor criticar vencendo os jogos, a gente indo bem ali na frente. E é pouca coisa para arrumar. A gente vem se cobrando. Temos um elenco muito forte, grandes jogadores nas posições, para não deixar mais essas dúvidas.

É o melhor clima de vestiário desde que chegou?
Eu sinto que é o melhor clima, com o Rogério. Porque não é de atleta para treinador, ele está do nosso lado. É um atleta como a gente. Ele treina junto, corrige, ele dá bronca. Ele quer sempre que a gente possa render o máximo, para a gente acertar. E fora de campo a gente conversa bastante, ele vem apoiando, sabe o que o jogador pode render. Essa é a fórmula do Rogério, que vem dando certo. Conversar bastante, acertar. E no dia a dia, ele é um atleta. Ele cobra muito, mas entende o nosso lado.

Incomoda ainda não ter se firmado como titular incontestável?
Acredito que não, acredito que vem ajudando o São Paulo. Ele está muito bem. Cada um tem de brigar pela sua posição. Eu sempre tentei manter a regularidade. Mas time grande é assim, quem tiver melhor no dia a dia. Buffarini ou eu. E tem as características do jogo também, como foi contra o Santos. Eu me cobro muito, quero sempre estar lutando. Mas o que o Rogério decidir no dia a dia, temos de mostrar, ser competitivos. E o torcedor cobra a todos. Se tratando de São Paulo, tem de conquistar os títulos. E o que precisar, vou sempre lutar pelas vitórias.
