– Nos últimos 30 dias fizemos sete jogos e apenas dez treinamentos com os jogadores que foram para as partidas. O Luiz Henrique foi quem mais jogou. Ao todo foram 13 jogos. Há outros jogadores com sete, oito, nove jogos. De uma certa forma tentamos controlar de uma melhor forma possível em função de evitar lesões – analisou o treinador.

Goiano também acrescentou que o momento é de se concentrar no compromisso que o Náutico terá diante do Sampaio Corrêa em Recife pelo Nordestão no dia 7 de março bem como dar um período de descanso aos atletas:

– Lógico que temos que aproveitar essa semana, mas nesse momento os jogadores precisam também de uma folga. Vamos estudar uma situação que fique boa para todo mundo e a gente vai continuar trabalhando e pensando já no próximo adversário, que é pela Copa do Nordeste. Nós precisamos vencer esse jogo para a gente entrar nessa briga dos quatro para a classificação no final.

O Botafogo demonstrou interesse na contratação de Maxwell, atual artilheiro do Campeonato Carioca. Edson Souza, treinador do Resende, porém, não está de acordo com essa possível transferência. Em contato com a reportagem doLANCE!, o técnico, em um tom de estresse, afirmou que o atacante não deixará a equipe.

– Ele não vai sair agora, sabe o por quê? Porque eu que o trouxe para cá, ele estava desempregado, estava em casa, eu não vou liberar (a saída)… Ninguém sabia quem era Maxwell, eu já falei pra ele que ele tem que honrar o contrato, que foi assinado por cinco meses. Ele é nosso até o final do Carioca, não vai sair para lugar nenhum, depois disso ele pode ir para onde quiser, mas até lá ele é do Resende – afirmou.

A equipe de General Severiano possui interesse na contratação de um atacante, já que o único atleta disponível no elenco, atualmente, é Kieza. O negócio está em um estágio avançado, mas, se depender do treinador do Resende, não vai acontecer até o fim do Campeonato Carioca.

Ao lado de João Carlos, do Volta Redonda, Maxwell é o artilheiro do Carioca, com seis gols marcados. Defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders will miss the services of New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum and Australian fast bowler James Pattinson for the tournament opener against Delhi Daredevils on Wednesday. Both players are yet to join the squad, with McCullum recovering from a hamstring niggle in New Zealand while Pattinson is going through the rest period advised by Cricket Australia after the Test tour of India last month.”Brendon is still at home as he is nursing a slight hamstring niggle.
